Meet the Staff & Leadership
Jesus Christ, Head of the Church
Jesus Christ is a native of Bethlehem in Judea, but grew up in nearby Nazareth, Galilee. Originally trained as a carpenter, at age 30 he began a second career in itinerant ministry. Teaching in public spaces, he became very popular with common people, but fell afoul of religious authorities by calling them out on hypocritical activities and attitudes. Targeted as a political revolutionary, he was executed when only 33 and moved briefly to hell. There he atoned for every sin committed on Earth since its beginning and to the end of Time. Rising from the dead under his own power three days later, he cemented his claim to be both Son of God and “Son of Man” (his favorite nickname for himself). He ascended to heaven, where he has lived for the past ca. 2000 Earth years or, as they count time in heaven, “now.” He enjoys interceding with his Father, God, for humanity; spending time with the Holy Spirit; and following the lives of friends on Earth. He looks forward to returning to Earth at the end of Time, vanquishing evil, and taking those who love him home to heaven.
Rev. Dr. Herbie Miller
